An empirical investigation of parent-child shared reading of digital personalized books

چکیده
Numerous studies have documented the benefits of parent-child shared reading print books, but few examined behaviours with digital personalized books. This lab-based study child language outcomes following a book by twenty-six British mothers and their 3- to 4-year-old children. The included pages that were individualized each participating child, child’s name, photograph, favourite toy food, as well generic no content. findings indicate significance personalization features in on screen importance parents’ role expanding beyond children’s focus self during reading.
